「港車北上」的車輛在內地每年累計停留超過 180 天，而無正當理由（如事故、故障等），將面臨嚴厲的處罰：

1. 處罰後果

• 禁止申請 2 年：最嚴重的後果是申請人、車輛及備案駕駛人的「港車北上」資格會被註銷。在違規行為發生之日起 2 年內，內地及香港政府將不再受理該申請人的新申請。
• 註銷電子牌證：內地部門會取消該車輛的電子牌證，並同步通報香港運輸署。
• 撤銷預約資格：香港運輸署有權撤銷或暫停你透過「指定日子預約系統」出行的資格。 

2. 其他類似違規

除了一年累計 180 天外，以下情況也會導致相同處罰：

• 每次連續停留超過 30 天。
• 車輛在內地期間駛出廣東省範圍（備案將被註銷，且一年內不予受理新申請）。
• 將獲批車輛進行轉讓、出租或出售。 

3. 特別例外情況

如果車輛是因為發生交通事故、機械故障或其他不可抗力原因，導致無法按時返回香港，必須及時向內地相關部門（如交警、海關）報備並取得證明文件，才有可能申請豁免處罰。

If a vehicle under the "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles" scheme (港車北上) exceeds the cumulative limit of 180 days per year in the Mainland, the following consequences apply:

1. Two-Year Ban on New Applications

The most significant penalty is that the Guangdong and Hong Kong governments may not accept any new applications from the applicant for two years. This ban applies if the vehicle stays for more than 180 days accumulatively in a year without a justified reason. 

2. Revocation of Licenses and Eligibility

• Electronic License Cancellation: The Mainland authorities will be notified to cancel the Temporary Electronic Vehicle Licence of the concerned vehicle.
• Booking System Suspension: The Transport Department (TD) in Hong Kong may revoke the vehicle's eligibility to use the "Specified Date Booking System".
• CRP Revocation: Any existing Closed Road Permit (CRP) or eligibility associated with the scheme can be revoked. 

3. Fines and Law Enforcement

Exceeding the permitted stay duration can lead to fines. Authorities in both Mainland and Hong Kong may deny future entry to Guangdong via the HZMB.
